Reg.Net costs you nothing unless we make money for
you. There is no signup fee or hidden costs. We strive to keep the process
as easy as possible. Because of the
nature of shareware registration, this should lead to far higher earnings for
you with much less hassle. You will be getting all those registrations you are
missing now plus increased exposure and publicity for your software.
For example, let's
assume your product is $40.00. When a user registers your software, Reg.Net
would retain $3 plus 10% of $40.00 ($4) for a total of $7.00. We would pass on $33.00 to you each time someone
registers that program. For programs retailing $20.00 or less, Reg.Net
retains 20% of the total charge with a $2 per order minimum. If this sounds too steep of a charge for you,
please consider the fact that some Reg.Net authors raise the price of their software to compensate for
our services. Users
are often willing to pay an extra fee for the convenience of using
Reg.Net. Reg.Net does not pass on any hidden bank fees for credits, refunds,
or chargebacks.
Reg.Net will make
monthly payments on the 30th of each month for products sold up to the 30th of
the previous month. (e.g. Funds obtained in the month of March are sent on
the 30th of April) A 30-day lapse from the last registration protects from
credit card chargebacks and user dissatisfaction. If the monthly payment
does not exceed $100.00, all payments (regardless of amount) shall be paid
quarterly. If the bank notifies us that a sale has been charged back (due
to fraud or non-receipt) the sales will be deducted from your next
payment.
There are a number of ways Reg.Net can send you
payments:
- Direct deposit into a US Bank account (no charge)
- Check in USD
- Cheque in
a currency of your choice (no charge)
- Wire funds
to your non-US bank in USD ($22.00 USD charge)
- Wire funds to your bank in the currency of your choice (no charge)
